Quake Remaster Released

QuakeCon got off to a fantastic start today with the release of a remastered Quake, available on digital storefronts for just £7.99 – and free too those who already own it. Long-rumoured and much anticipated, this remaster comes courtesy of Machine Games Nightdive Studios, and id Software.

Machine Games had already proven their Quake bona fides with the 2016 release of Dimension of the Past, a third expansion pack to the original game that was released on Quake’s twentieth anniversary. That expansion pack is now available in the remaster package, along with plenty more to be excited about.

Xbox Exclusivity Ends, Dawnguard Unleashed On Steam

Today’s Steam deal for the ‘Elder Scrolls Collection‘ may at first seem like nothing special. Until you look a bit closer and notice the words Dawnguard in there. Bethesda, you sneaky snake you.

As if by magic the first DLC pack for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has now been released on PC, coinciding with Bethesda’s presence at this weekends QuakeCon.

Priced at £13.99, the equivalent value of the 1600 Microsoft Points paid by Xbox 360 owners, this DLC is certainly not cheap. If your not convinced about forking out for it, why not take a look at our review for a better idea of what’s included.
