EA have today announced that Crysis 3 is definitely coming and will land next year on the PC, 360 and PS3. There is no mention of a WiiU release, which is a likely indicator of the below-par performance of Nintendo’s next machine. The third game in Crytek’s series will put you in the boots of ‘Prophet’ in New York city in 2047, though as you might be able to tell from the screenshots, New York isn’t quite as it seems.
The first choice for me was one of great importance. It could mean the difference between life and death, the destruction of a whole civilisation or the lives of my crew members. Mass Effect is on the horizon again and what better way to get worked up about saving the galaxy and making planet sized decisions with your favourite commander than to dig into the Mass Effect 3 demo. The single player section of the demo is in two parts and may be short and sweet but there is a lot to talk about and even more to get excited about.

It emerged at the end of last week that 38 Studios’ upcoming RPG Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning was going to include an “online pass” which was required to gain access to the House of Valor quest line. This revelation caused a wave of fury and consternation amongst those who had taken an interest in the title. “An online pass, for a singleplayer game? How hideous!” they cried, but all is not as it seems.
Freddie Prinze Jr. has been confirmed as the voice actor for Mass Effect 3‘s new character James Vega. In the video he talks about his real life inspirations for the character and his love for the series of Mass Effect, of which he seems a genuine fan.
He joins a host of stars who have signed up to do voice acting for Mass Effect 3 including: Seth Green, Adam Baldwin, Martin Sheen and Carrie-Anne Moss. The video shows lots of new footage from the upcoming Mass Effect 3 release but don’t worry, no spoilers.
