Hide your wallet – The Steam sale has landed
The end of the month, that means pay-day for most, but if you were planning for a month of austerity – think again. This years Steam Summer Sale has just kicked off!
As most of you know, there is literally no way for PC-minded gamers to not make at least 10 impulse purchases throughout the duration of the sale. I suggest you deposit all of your savings in a safe bank account with no access to the details, in fact I’ll even go as far as to provide that service to you personally!
If for some reason you are a complete lunatic and my generous offer does not appeal to you, here are some highlights –
Recettear: An Item Shop’s Tale – £3.25 – Adorable indie JRPG/trading sim.
Valve Complete Pack – £24.99 – Every Valve game in a nice affordable bundle, but you probably own all of these already.
The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition – £5.10 – Contains the Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles add—ons, which are probably the only 2 you really need, but for another £1.70 you can get the Deluxe Edition which includes all the DLC (insert obligatory Horse Armour Joke here)
The Assassin’s Creed Collectors Pack – £37.48 – One great game, one good game and one err… atmospheric game for the price of one (and a bit) full price game.
There are other great deals to be had, but Steam has slowed down to a crawl for me personally, there are likely to be some bargainous offerings in the daily deals that will follow in the days to come, so keep your eyes peeled.
