The Brothers Rapture is a fan-made short film set in a world stemming from the original Bioshock game. Filmed on a tight budget and with little time to spare, the producers have created their own story following two artists who have come to rapture to start a new life.

With the release of the new Star Trek game just a few days away, developers Digital Extremes have seen fit to release a couple of new videos. The first gives a little more insight into the actual plot of the game, the character backgrounds and the appearance of the Gorn. The second shows some behind the scenes footage of the actors recording their voice parts for the game.

No One Has To Die focuses around the break out of a fire in office block. You, the visitor to the offices have stumbled into control of the security system and have to decide who survives. As the story progresses and each character dies you learn more about what’s going on from the surviving members. Problem is, you won’t find out the full story until you have explored every eventuality.
IGN have released an exclusive Dark Souls 2 gameplay demo earlier today. Whilst looking very similar to the previous game, it’s apparent that a lot of improvements have been made both visually and gameplay wise. These are talked about during the demo by Yui Tanimura, director of From Software and Tak Miyazoe, Global producer of Namco Bandai. Hit the break to see the full 12 minutes of gameplay.
Catequesis follows twelve year old Daniel and his attempts to rescue his girlfriend Sophie. Things start to go wrong after a disastrous attempt at curing Sophie’s father from an incurable disease. Religous rites, weird creatures and signs drawn in blood ensue.
William Shatner’s battle with the Gorn in this trailer for the upcoming Star Trek game may not play out quite how I remembered it. Thankfully this doesn’t reflect in the small amount of footage also shown in the trailer. Kirk (now played by Chris Pine) can be seen fighting classic enemy the Gorn with a range of different phaser weapons and even in hand to hand combat.
