Defending dens ages Ezio in Assassin’s Creed: Revelations

Defending dens ages Ezio in Assassin’s Creed: Revelations

I think Ben and myself are going to be fighting it out over who gets to review this one, maybe we will have our very own real life version of tower defence to decide who gets it. Anyway, in this trailer (via RPS) we see Ezio looking old as he gets involved in a spot of ‘den defence’ in the upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. Didn’t expect Ezio to get involved in that sort of thing, but I guess it works with the ever expanding city management game that the Assassin’s titles seem to be developing into.

Battlefield and Skyrim Go Live Action Crazy

Battlefield and Skyrim Go Live Action Crazy

Live Action trailers are certainly a strange thing to see for a game, and if I am frank I don’t quite understand why they are done. For one, the above Skyrim trailer looks more like a trailer for Game of Thrones than a game, then is promptly ruined by the giganto-fake dragon at the end. Below the jump is the Battlefield 3 trailer.

Uncharted 3 is a Game that is Coming Out Soon

Uncharted 3 is a Game that is Coming Out Soon

With apologies to Sony and the fine folks at the ever talented Naughty Dog, we’ve just realised that the upcoming Uncharted 3 hasn’t been mentioned on the site for something like four months. Let it not be said that Uncharted 3 is a game that is not coming out soon. In fact, the truth is quite the contrary: Uncharted 3 is very much a game that is coming out soon. In under a fortnight to be precise.

Team Fortress 2: Mann at Work(shop)

It’s been a whole year since Team Fortress 2 opened up the Mann Co. store, dividing the player base into those that felt Valve were were placing too much emphasis on superfluous gubbins that had no impact on the game whatsoever and those that look awesome in a bowlerhatandohmygodIMUSTHAVEIT. Whatever you think of the store, it’s been an incredibly successful experiment, for both Valve and the model makers whose items now adorn the majority of games. To celebrate the one…

Sonic Generations PC Confirmed (and Screenshots)

Sonic Generations PC Confirmed (and Screenshots)

Sonic Generations is a game it seems that everyone wants to love, but nobody seems entirely sure whether they can really trust it. By its very nature it’s a two faced attempt to have and eat a whole lot of cake: are you in it for pudgy Sonic, or his radicalised elongated son? Is it really going to work having levels from the three main eras (which can surely only be described as ‘Classic’, ‘Meh…’ and ‘Oh dear’)? Are we looking…

Euro Truck Simulator 2 – Screenshots galore

Euro Truck Simulator 2 – Screenshots galore

My day has been made with some of these new images for Euro Truck Simulator 2, if you hit the jump, you can see heaps of images from the game. The first few show off the Eurotunnel, so we will easily be able to drive from the UK into France and beyond. The second set of images are of what is apparently a UK landmark, but I can’t place where it is myself. Hit the jump to take a look.

World of Goo Coming to Android Tablets and Phones

World of Goo Coming to Android Tablets and Phones

I own several different copies of World of Goo, I was fortunate enough to get a review copy from 2D Boy, I bought it directly on release, I bought a copy on Steam, I have a copy on my Steam press account and I also bought it on iOS for my iPod Touch. Soon, I will be buying it again on Android as 2D Boy have confirmed the Android release is coming soon. It will be available for both Android…
