After my journey to find a true rally game it is pleasing for me to bring word that BlackBean are bringing out a follow up to last years World Rally Championship game, imaginatively called WRC 2. The new game will be released this October on PC, 360 and PS3.
The good news is that the new game will feature more stages and events, whether it will match up to what I was looking for in my hunt which took me back to Network Q RAC Rally, we will see. There is promised to be 90 stages across 15 different locations with 25 different terrain and weather conditions. There will also be cars ranging from the 1960s to current WRC models. The career mode, which failed to fulfill the potential in last years version is also being promised to be completely revamped.
I was very disappointed with the first WRC and I really hope that the new version can improve upon the failings and deliver us a rally game which provides an experience as true to life as possible.
