The annual Steam sales have a habit of cruelly forcing me to part with money for games that I don’t need (and yes, I’m aware that technically I don’t ‘need’ any games) . One by-product of this is that my steam account now has more than a dozen games I’ve never played.
Civilization V, flaws aside is another fantastic entry into the series. It combines a clean, easy to use UI with crisp graphics and tactical depth.
Time flies by in some games, the Civilization and Football Manager games especially. Tonight I managed to lose nearly three hours to the lovely Civilization V, lovely because it is by far the best Civ game I have ever played for the simple reason that I find it that much simpler to do what I want in.
