Chrome does Bastion



Word comes via RPS that Google’s web browser, Chrome, is now supporting the lovely indie game Bastion. You can launch the game right from your browser, I just had a quick play with the trial, and it feels very smooth and efficient, more so than when playing Bastion through OnLive. Will Chrome start growing to challenge platforms like OnLive? Too early to tell right now, but my experience of playing Bastion through Chrome was more enjoyable than playing it through OnLive. What do Google have up their sleeve I wonder?

Back when LPB and HPB were abbreviations that people still used. Back when in-game voice communication wasn’t widespread and you didn’t have to listen to strangers threaten to interfere with your relatives.

Eurogamer Expo – Day One

So the first day of the Eurogamer Expo is over for me, I am back in my hotel waiting for my girlfriend to arrive before we have a day of sightseeing. No fear though, Michael will be at the event tomorrow to keep us up to date. Three things have caught my eye, and I want to quickly talk about them before I go into more detail over the next few days. They are OnLive, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Battlefield 3.
