The Wild West, boy howdy I would’ve only lasted a few days there before falling off my horse or falling victim to a band of outlaws. Fortunately, I don’t need to invent a time-machine in order to experience this key time in American history, I can just boot up Call of Juarez: Gunslinger and have the time of my life.
The Call of Juarez series is returning to where it belongs in the old wild west with the upcoming Gunslinger. Here is to hoping it is a bit of a return to form for the series after the generally poorly received The Cartel which used a modern day setting. The new trailer for Gunslinger is after the break.
You have to wonder if the voice actors for the latest instalment of the Call of Juarez franchise were paid in the form of a swear jar. If that was the case, the cast would likely be millionaires by now. Sadly, this is just the hairline fracture on a title that suffers from multiple flaws throughout a game that frankly brings down the series to a standard that the franchise just doesn’t deserve.
