I wasn’t going to post about this, seeing as I hate reading something exciting only to be told I can’t have it yet.

“Oooh look at this!  Isn’t it so shiny and awesome?  Don’t you want it? TOUGH! Nyahahahah!”

That’s the voice of the vaudevillian villain I hear every time I read a news post like this one, but it has been pointed out to me that most people actually like to know about things in advance, so here you go.

Zork is coming back again!

I’d like to point out that I’ve never actually played a Zork game, but that this does not impede me getting excited at all.  Legends of Zork (for that is its name) promises to be an MMO adventure game, which in itself if enough to peak my interest.  I don’t know how that’s going to work, and seeing as the game will be browser based (and thus free, presumably) I’m not too worried about it just yet.

Anyhow, if you’re interested I recommend you drop by the site and sign up for a handy email notice of the game’s release.  I did.
