  1. It’s pretty awesome, but what’s up with the tank spammage? I’ve only played a bit, and I’ve already see 5 tanks alive at the same time.

  2. I have been playing it a bit the past couple of days and I must say I am really enjoying it. I only have a problem with it when you end up with an AI character *glares at Bill* or when you don’t get your achievements *looks at Steam for failing to recognise my Gold tonight*

Had some really good games with a wide variety of people ranging from my mate in Cardiff and some people he knows, Jim and Alec from RPS with someone else who I can’t remember, and Phill, Greg and Yarisse. To be able to really enjoy a game mode of L4D with such a diversity of people really shows me how good Survival Mode is. Often I find it a struggle to adapt to playing with such a variety of people in L4D, but everything fell into place nicely this time.

    More thoughts may come soon.

  3. God it really is awful, that is a major problem I am having with the game right now, when you can’t find a server after 30 seconds of searching, then you know something isn’t quite right with the system. They should bring back the classic server browser as something you can use without having to go through the console. I would have played so much more if it wasn’t for that.

  4. Managed 11 minutes last night. Yessssss! Love survival mode, it’s just a pain in the arse setting everything up for someone to get incapped and set on fire in the first 30 seconds because they are a COMPLETE IDIOT WHO DOESN’T LISTEN TO THE VERY SIMPLE PLAN OF STAY IN THE FUCKING BUILDING! *pant* *pant* *sigh*

  5. Calm down, calm down! That is a key thing to Survival, staying calm when under pressure. Once you get to the point where two tanks are barging in at the same time then it takes a strong person to stand up and fight.

  6. Yeah, when 2 tanks are approaching I’m all for running – but that doesn’t happen in the first 30 seconds after extensive planning of “so we hold this room”
