Cliff Harris of Positch Games has today announced his next game, Democracy 3 which will be released sometime this year. Early rumblings are that several famous politicians will be eager to get their hands on the game so they can learn how to actually do their jobs. The new game in the series is being built 95% from scratch, but will share some of the basic GUI elements of the original titles, but with some modern touches. Cliff detailed some of the reasons for working on a new game on his blog here and it is heartening to see that there will be greater scope for different resolutions along with changes to reflect the current political system.
