I still remember accidentally discovering Magic a few years back whilst trawling the latest videos on YouTube. After a couple minutes of sheer bewilderment I had skipped onto the next video thinking to myself “That doesn’t look like something I would enjoy”.
Little did I know how wrong I was.
It is a sad day here at The Reticule, but it is a day that has been a long time coming. I am sad to reveal that The Reticule is going offline and there won’t be any new content published. It has been a long and very exciting ride since a small group of us started this place back in November 2008, but these things don’t last forever and as the team slowly moved on to bigger and brighter things…
The Independent Games Festival is due to hold its’ 13th annual awards ceremony in the Spring of 2011. The IGF is a mainstay of the gaming calendar, and in the words of Kyle Gabler (World of Goo) ”is the biggest showcase for indie games”.
The first thing I learned about about RUSE when I jumped into the freely available public beta (available via Steam) is that I’m extremely bad at it.
