The quest to get Dark Souls on PC keeps going strong. The petition (which I urge you to sign if you haven’t yet) has reached an unprecedented 63,372 signatures at the time of posting, and the forum thread currently stands at the most active on the Namco-Bandai forums. Now, we seem to have caught the attention of a Namco-Bandai employee saying “The future is in your hands, and I hope you will keep supporting this.” Hit the jump for more information.
When 2K’s Christoph Hartmann said that “strategy games are just not contemporary”, what he actually meant was “we can’t market and sell a strategy game on a console”. That was in defence of the abominable idea of turning X-Com into an FPS. Gentlemen, gentleladies, I am afraid that we may never see another strategy game in the X-Com series. One would think there were lessons to learn from Enforcer and Interceptor, but you would apparently be wrong.
You’re probably aware that something called ‘Christmas’ is next month. Christmas is a wonderful thing where you have to spend all your money on other people, because you’re a nice, generous soul. Unfortunately, that means you probably won’t have much money to spend on feeding your gaming hobby.
