Live Action trailers are certainly a strange thing to see for a game, and if I am frank I don’t quite understand why they are done. For one, the above Skyrim trailer looks more like a trailer for Game of Thrones than a game, then is promptly ruined by the giganto-fake dragon at the end. Below the jump is the Battlefield 3 trailer.
My lord, just take a look at this trailer for Battlefield 3, it is quite immense. Guns, planes, tanks and a sneak peak at Strike at Karkand at the end.
One wonders how many Sonic fans and detractors were made twenty years ago when the original Green Hill Zone blast-processed its way onto their screens. If you own a Kinect, I implore you to go out and buy The Gunstringer to experience what is truly a majestic game. I don’t use my Kinect often due to the constraints imposed by requiring a certain amount of floor space, but The Gunstringer makes the effort of moving my Xbox into another room entirely worth it. EA have brought together some stats from the recent open beta for Battlefield 3 at put them into a lovely little image which you can see above. Over 8 million people took part in the beta, quite impressive if I say so myself. Click on the image to see it full size.
