There is a new trailer for LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 which you can see above, showing off some of the wizadry action you will find in the game, and that is perfect timing as I have been trying out this title over OnLive, hit the jump for some thoughts.
Gulf of Oman was one of the best maps from Battlefield 2, hell the majority of the maps in that game were awesome and still blow away anything from Battlefield 3. So it is nice to see that the map that started it all with the Battlefield 2 demo is coming back in the Strike at Karkand DLC for the newest title in the series. Those classic vehicles are going to be wonderful to play with. Now for some maps from Battlefield 1942 to appear….
My word, what a time it is to be a gamer, we are being spoilt for choice in new games right now. The major titles normally get released around this time of the year, everyone is used to that by now, but this year it is something else as the number of major titles being released seems to keep growing and growing. There really is a mad crush of games all being released together right now, and judging by some of the sales figures we are seeing, people are happy enough to buy the games they want despite the current economic climate.

Licenced games have a horrible tendency to be absolute tosh barely worth your hard earned cash, but every once in a while a game like Tintin appears which proves itself to be well worth splashing the cash on.
If a Formula One fan wants a racer that captures not only the passion of the motorsport they love, but the realism that drives it, they only have one place to go. Thankfully Codemasters have nailed both criteria so well, that one wonders if there would be any need for another developer to ever tackle the series.

Didn’t expect Ezio to get involved in that sort of thing, but I guess it works with the ever expanding city management game that the Assassin’s titles seem to be developing into.
Coming from iD Software – the creators of the FPS genre as we know it – comes their latest release – RAGE – a game with 20 years of shooting pedigree and some of the most well known figures in the industry working away on it’s innards. No pressure then.
