By the time this goes live, it will effectively be the third day of the Expo, but this is a quick recap of day two at the show. Big shooters, big racers and numerous indies await…
Day one of my experience at the Eurogamer Expo is in the bag, and it has been something of a long day. I was on a bus from my flat at 10am to the city centre to get a National Express coach at 11am over to London. On arrival in London I took a walk to my hotel and was checked in by 2.30pm and walked into Earl’s Court for my first day at the show.
I haven’t played an entry in the Pro Cycling Manager series since I delivered a Verdict on the 2012 edition. With Le Tour having started this past weekend in Yorkshire, I thought I would take a little dip into the new 2014 edition.

I’m a purist full-fat fan when it comes to Football Manager, I need the proper no-holds barred Career experience. I appreciate that the depth of this isn’t for everyone which is why I was pleased to see the introduction of the Classic mode in last years game. Have no fear, the Classic mode is back for 2014 and you can find all the details in the latest video diary from Sports Interactive head honcho, Miles Jacobson after the break.
One of the most important aspects of any Football Manager game is the news system where you are bombarded with thousands of messages every season. The news system has been totally revamped for FM 2014 as you can see in the video below, and it looks bloody gorgeous. Now I know this won’t appeal to everyone, but anyone who plays the game will know how important the news screen is. Check out the video blog from studio head Miles Jacobson below.
