Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer Hands On

Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer Hands On

A few days ago I got the chance to take an early look at the Mass Effect 3 single player demo and all the glory that came with it. An updated levelling system, sharp graphics and some heart pounding action were just some of the highlights. Having played it to death however, it was time to move onto the much discussed and awaited multilpayer side of the Mass Effect 3 demo which was made available on the 14th for anyone…

Far Cry 3 – All New Trailer

If I might say so myself, Far Cry 3 is looking quite splendid, and this brand new trailer only goes to show off what is going to be a personal must buy title when it is released this September. This new trailer shows the arrival of leading man Jason Brody to the tropical island that is the setting for the game and his initial interactions with the key antagonist, Vaas. Hooray For New IP – Kingdoms Of Amalur Takes UK Top Spot

Hooray For New IP – Kingdoms Of Amalur Takes UK Top Spot

Whoever said new IP didn’t have a chance was wrong, oh so wrong. It pleases me to report that in the latest GFK Chart Track All Formats chart the all new IP Kingdoms of Amalur: Recokoning from publisher EA is number one. Chart Track also report that this is the first brand new IP to debut at number one since Dead Island last September, and it is the first time since 2000 that an all new RPG has appeared at the top spot.

This is infinitely good news, as it shows that even in a poor economic climate, people are still willing to take a punt on a new series, albeit one with the big name support of R.A Salvatore, Todd McFarlane, Ken Rolston and Curt Schiling. Hopefully this will encourage publishers to take a punt on new IP to shake up the sequel heavy charts.

Kingdoms Of Amalur: Reckoning – Demo Impressions

Kingdoms Of Amalur: Reckoning – Demo Impressions

I wasn’t expecting much from the demo for Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, to be honest I had all but forgotten about the game since I saw the first trailer during E3 last year. My first impressions, were not quite the best. For the demo I had to sign in to my EA account and accept a Terms of Service notice, and during the demo I couldn’t even save. That is without talking about the lack of feeling to the PC…
