When the zombie apocalypse comes – if it hasn’t already begun – we will know the four lunatics with clown masks, blue latex gloves and assault rifles to blame for letting it spread beyond quarantine and we have the video footage to prove it. Check it out.

Last month we brought you news – in my first article, no less – that PAYDAY‘s developers OVERKILL Software would be collaborating in some fashion with Valve to bring a PAYDAY/Left 4 Dead crossover. I, along with half the internet, speculated that it would revolve around Left 4 Dead 1’s first chapter No Mercy and Mercy Hospital. I was right.

It is not clear whether this is a whole new game but the smart money is on it just being a DLC level for PAYDAY: The Heist. There does not appear to be any sign of zombies making an appearance. If they were going to be included, I would think OVERKILL would want to make something of it. If all they are offering is a new scenario and a handful of weapons then I think there are going to be a lot of disappointed gamers.
