Eurogamer Expo – Day 2 Roundup

Eurogamer Expo – Day 2 Roundup

Looking at the clock on my netbook and it says it is now past midnight, so I guess this Day 2 roundup is a teeny bit late, so apologies dear readers. It has been a long day today, up early to get to Earl’s Court for the 10am entry, all day at the Expo, then a trip to the Comedy Club and a HMV games room in Leicester Square. For a roundup of Day 2 at the Expo, just hit…

Our Week in Games – Week 10

Our Week in Games – Week 10

What a week or so it is to be a gamer: Pro Evo Soccer, Borderlands 2, F1 2012 and Torchlight 2 have just come out and at the end of the coming week we have FIFA and the Eurogamer Expo. I will be representing The Reticule at the Expo with Dishonored and the Wii U at the top of my list of things to check out. Meanwhile, check out Our Week in Games after the break.

Our Week in Games – Week 8

It is that time of the week again, today we just have Edcrab and Nick chipping in. Busy weekend for me, I haven’t been able to get my thoughts down on paper about what I have played. Enjoy Trine and Kerbal Space Program chat.

Our Week in Games – Week 7

Our Week in Games – Week 7

It is later than normal for this edition of Our Week in Games, but I passed out when I heard that Black Mesa, (the mod which re-creates Half-Life in the Source engine) was actually going to be released in 12 days time. Either that or I had a busy day at work. Either way, it is Our Week in Games, in a week which saw Guild Wars 2, Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition and The Walking Dead: Episode 3 get released, what have we been playing? Read on to find out…

Our Week in Games – Week 6

Our Week in Games – Week 6

This weekend has been dominated by two Armstrong’s, Lance and Neil. The former is embroiled in a doping controversy surrounding his Tour de France victories which makes any drug related puns in Pro Cycling Manager pieces even more glaring. The other was the first human to step foot on the Moon, the only otherworldly body we have walked on. Neil Armstrong is a legend, and the achievements of himself and NASA are still being felt today with the Curiosity rover…

Our Week in Games – Week Five

Gamescom has been and gone, but perhaps the biggest news of the past week broke yesterday with the closure of OnLive. It doesn’t come as much of a surprise to me as I never really got the feeling the service was going to make it by itself, and without the backing of a console manufacturer it was doomed to fail. A new company seems to have been formed, but time will tell what really happens with the cloud gaming service. If that business talk is too much for you on a Sunday afternoon, hit the jump to read about our week in games.

Our Week in Games Week 4

The Olympics is ending today and the football season is about to kick-off once more, I don’t know who is actually looking forward to the football now, it has become relegated so with the Olympics. I have had a busy week full of job applications and have barely looked at my stack of games. The above image is from something Nick has been working on for four years, and with that I will leave the rest of the words for today to the rest of the team.

Our Week In Games – Week Three

Our Week In Games – Week Two

Our Week In Games – Week Two

Word has reached me here in Cardiff that there is a big sporting event taking place in London right now, but this week none of us here at The Reticule have been playing anything resembling Summer Games. The sportiest things we have been playing are Tiger Woods 13 and DOTA 2. This then is our week in games, enjoy.

Sundays come and go, people tend to take things easy on this day of the week, generally recovering from their Saturday night out or just enjoying their last day of freedom before going back to the grind. Today marks the start of a new weekly feature here at Reticule Towers where we take our serious writing hats off and relax a bit and tell you all a little about what we have been playing this week. I hope you enjoy…
