This has been my multiplayer FPS of choice for over a year. A lot of it has to do that I found a pair of servers (5th Ranger Battalion) with a great community, and an awesome realism clan that loves the pubs they admin while treating the pubbers right.

This means enforcing the rules. No shooting in spawn. No shooting into, or out of spawn. No intentional TKs. No recruiting/micspam/adverts. No arranging furniture in such a way that it blocks a pathway (I refer to this as "interior decoration"). Keep your language and manners reasonable.

I pumped about 150 hours into TF2 before the Pyro update. I've probably pumped 200+ into DoD:S since. It would be nice to have some more maps and features, some weapon choices for the classes like the original, but I'll settle. I even have a few achievements left to chase. When it comes down to it, its an FPS that lets me kill guys while I go about the business of doing my objectives. That is what I like.
